Job description

Job Summary:
AtriCure, Inc. provides innovative technologies for the treatment of Afib and related conditions. They are seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Applications & Analytics to own and advance the strategy, delivery, performance, and adoption of the enterprise application landscape that supports the company's objectives. The role involves leading an inclusive team, managing the Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP implementation, and ensuring technology solutions align with enterprise priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Set the long-term vision and growth strategy for the enterprise applications portfolio based on business strategy, financial goals, and the evolving technical landscape.
• Own full product/application lifecycle across the portfolio—roadmaps, demand intake, prioritization, design, build, release, adoption, lifecycle management, and retirement.
• Lead the Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP program through deployment, stabilization, optimization, and continuous improvement; ensure legacy ERP decommissioning is executed safely and effectively.
• Establish and run portfolio governance (prioritization, funding, resource allocation, architectural alignment, and risk management) with transparent decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and reinforce delivery discipline (e.g., program increments, sprint cadences, product ownership, team commitment, business outcomes) tailored to a regulated medical device environment.
• Define and implement application operating models for reliability and support (e.g., service ownership, SLAs/OLAs, incident/problem/change practices, on-call/after-hours protocols where needed).
• Develop and maintain an integration strategy (APIs, iPaaS/middleware, EDI, ETL, eventing) that improves resiliency, data quality, and end-to-end process performance.
• Drive a data-driven culture, defining business and performance metrics to prioritize investments, measure adoption, and track portfolio value realization.
• Partner with business leaders to re-engineer processes and enable standardization and scalability across functions (quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, record-to-report, etc.).
• Ensure solutions are designed and operated with appropriate compliance and validation rigor (e.g., SOX, privacy expectations, and applicable quality/regulatory considerations).
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams—building inclusive leadership practices, succession planning, coaching, and a strong leadership bench.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor performance; negotiate outcomes-based engagements and ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Serve as a senior technology partner across the enterprise—influencing without authority, aligning leaders on tradeoffs, and driving cross-functional execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience leading enterprise applications, business systems, or enterprise technology functions
• Minimum of ten (10) years of people leadership experience, including managing managers and/or multi-team organizations
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale ERP transformations (Oracle Cloud Fusion preferred), including process standardization, change management, and post go-live optimization
• Track record of rigorous business analysis and the ability to win supporters and drive adoption across diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing outcomes at VP/ELT levels
• Strong program and portfolio management capabilities—prioritization, governance, resource planning, and measurable outcomes
• Experience supporting US and global operations
• Excellent communication and executive presence; strong facilitator and moderator
• Hands-on orientation with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Familiarity with modern IT Infrastructure including Cloud, Network and Desktop management
Preferred:
• MBA or advanced degree; or equivalent experience leading cross-functional enterprise transformations
• Experience within regulated industries (medical device, life sciences, pharma) and familiarity with compliance/validation expectations
• Proven success modernizing integration and data/analytics ecosystems
• Foundational understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations sufficient to partner effectively with those teams and incorporate requirements into application design and operations
• Experience building “product mindset” enterprise application teams (product owners, roadmaps, value measurement)
