Job Summary

The Creative Director is responsible for creating and managing visual content across multiple platforms, including graphic design, videography, and website development. This role involves designing engaging graphics, producing high-quality videos, and developing and maintaining websites to enhance the company’s online presence and support its marketing and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Management: Maintain and update internal websites (Squarespace, Webflow) including landing page creation, content updates, and optimizations.
  • Visual Content Creation: Design engaging PowerPoints, presentations, and creative assets to support company initiatives.
  • Multimedia Production: Develop high-quality video and photo assets through filming, motion graphics, photography, and graphic design.
  • Marketing & Internal Materials: Design compelling marketing materials, internal communications, and branding collateral as needed.
  • Creative Copywriting: Craft persuasive and impactful copy for campaigns, website content, and marketing initiatives.
  • Market & Software Research: Continuously explore and implement innovative tools, software, and best practices to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Data & Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using platforms like VFP, HubSpot, and Meta. Provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Competitive & Growth Analysis: Evaluate market trends, regional dynamics, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Cross-Departmental Support: Assist Group X, Personal Training, Membership, Corporate Sales, and Recruiting teams with marketing and creative needs.
  • Campaign Execution: Help implement digital, traditional, and grassroots marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Brand Consistency & Expansion: Support creative efforts for existing locations and new pre-sale markets to ensure a cohesive brand presence.
  • Department Oversight: Manage daily workflow, ensuring smooth execution of marketing and creative projects. 

What we look for in a qualified Creative Director

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Web Development, or a related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, website development, and videography
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro), and web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Proficient in Google collaboration tools such as Drive, Docs, Sheets.
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong visual design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent technical skills in videography and video editing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Work Environment

  • This position operates in a professional office environment with a standard 40-hour workweek. Flexibility may be required based on project deadlines. (not remote)
  • The role may involve occasional travel for on-site video shoots or industry events.
