SABG is Hiring an Advanced Strategic Planning Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, Alabama. Advanced Analysts will support Agency Executives and Senior Leaders in the Advanced Capability (AC) Office with day-to-day mission planning. JOB TITLE: Analyst (Advanced) - AC CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance LOCATION:Huntsville, AL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. * Conduct research, gather metrics, and provide analytical support to executive level decision making. Perform tasks as needed to execute policy as established by executive leadership. * Work with the AC executives to ensure that AC complies with all Requests for Information from senior MDA leadership as well as DoD, Congressional, and Armed Service stakeholders. * Manage schedule, communications, and activity of both the Program Executive and the Deputy Program Executive for Advanced Capability (AC). * Coordinate and manage input to write and edit weekly reports, e-mails, memos, and other communications on the executives' behalf. * Organize meetings and events including scheduling, invitations, reminders and follow-up activities. * Action Officer on assigned projects and tasks within the scope of activity. Define scope and schedule of taskings and provide status reports to Advanced Capability (AC) leadership throughout the lifecycle of the project. Catalog lessons learned and significant challenges to provide for future efficiencies. SUPERVISION:This position has supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * BA/BS and 6 years' experience in administrative/business field; AA and 8 years' experience in administrative/business field; or 15 years' experience in administrative/business field. * Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. * Possess 3+ years of direct experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer). * Demonstrated advanced capabilities executing day-to-day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects, issues, and initiatives. * Proficient in advanced analytical thinking; working in a teaming environment developing corporate strategies, goals and objectives and briefing recommendations to senior leaders. * Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities. * Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence. * Proficient in government travel processes and systems. * Proficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders. * Proficient in classified correspondence handling procedures. * Proficient in government task management systems. * Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations to senior leaders * Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, read-ahead documentation). * Experience with government time-management procedures and systems. * Demonstrated knowledge of record management processes. * Must possess high levels of communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organization, and presentation skills. COMPUTER SKILLS: * Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment * Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Proficiency in data visualization applications (MS Power BI) is a plus. CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
