Job Purpose

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational execution of Three Square's integrated marketing system and serving as the department's central traffic and execution manager. This role ensures that campaigns, projects, timelines, workflows, and cross-team coordination function smoothly and efficiently across all marketing channels, while serving as the brand authority and quality-control lead, enforcing brand standards, visual identity, voice, and consistency in execution across all marketing deliverables.


Essential Job Functions

The following duties are considered essential functions of this position. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Helps carry out the Chief Development Officer/Director of Integrated Marketing's vision on a granular level, partnering closely with the Director of Integrated Marketing to operationalize strategy through executable project plans.
  • Manages the end-to-end marketing project lifecycle, including project intake, scheduling, task assignments, dependencies, and deadlines; assigns tasks to marketing team members and monitors progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintains real-time visibility into project status, timelines, and production capacity, tracking milestones and deliverables to keep projects on schedule and resolving bottlenecks quickly.
  • Serves as the primary internal traffic, coordination, and brand quality control lead for all marketing projects, routing deliverables through required brand, compliance, and leadership approval workflows and performing final quality assurance prior to release.
  • Ensures the excellence, accuracy, and brand alignment of Three Square's communications and marketing materials, enforcing brand standards, voice, visual identity, and consistent execution across all deliverables.
  • Serves as a key contributor in developing content and marketing copy for assigned projects in support of the company's brand awareness.
  • Maintains and manages the integrated campaign calendar across digital, direct mail, advertising, events, and communications, coordinating production schedules for direct mail, print, digital campaigns, website updates, and special projects.
  • Collects, organizes, and communicates feedback between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Oversees internal document control for brand standards, marketing schedules, assets, deadlines, and version tracking.
  • Identifies and recommends process and production improvements that strengthen speed, quality, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Supports Philanthropy and Program teams by coordinating marketing timelines tied to campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Drafts speaking points for Three Square spokespeople and reviews them prior to media interviews and speaking engagements.
  • Coordinates press events and media opportunities, serving as the on-site press contact, and coordinates other special and internal events as needed.
  • Coordinates internal and external production shoots, acting as the on-site production contact and assistant.
  • Works with the public relations firm on all current and future media opportunities.
  • Manages confidential information.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in marketing project management, production coordination, communications operations, or a related role required.
  • Experience in a nonprofit environment preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with creative teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required, with experience in Canva or a similar design program a plus.
  • Familiarity with collaborative project management tools, digital asset management systems, and basic design review tools preferred.

  • May occasionally enter warehouse areas, with brief exposure to temperature variation, dust, and elevated noise levels from motorized equipment.
