Job Description LeverageTek is actively seeking an Integration Senior Software Engineer for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer Work Location This is a fully remote position. There is no on-site requirement. Key Tasks Perform hands-on development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of enterprise integration platforms Design, develop, and integrate information systems and integration technologies in accordance with industry best practices and EDC standards Develop and maintain integrations using Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, .NET/C#, BizTalk, and APIs Provide technical guidance and recommendations on the optimal use and evolution of integration platforms Review system models, specifications, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation Provide technical direction related to APIs, event services, integration patterns, service-oriented architecture, DevOps and DevSecOps, and hybrid Azure and on-premises integrations Develop and implement standards and processes for coding, deployment, testing, security, and governance Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and/or Bicep Implement automated security controls, policy-as-code, and automated exception processes Analyze and resolve complex technical support and integration issues Support solution lifecycle management from development through deployment and ongoing operations Ensure the security, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability of integration platforms and services Leverage modern development tools and emerging technologies, including AI-assisted software engineering tools, where appropriate Key Qualifications 5+ years of proven, hands-on, expert-level experience building Azure integrations, including Azure Functions and Azure DevOps 4+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade Terraform or Bicep modules 4+ years of DevSecOps experience, particularly with Azure DevOps, including automated security controls and policy-as-code Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C# Experience with Microsoft BizTalk and enterprise integration environments Strong understanding of APIs, service-oriented architecture, integration patterns, and event services Experience supporting hybrid Azure and on-premises integrations Strong knowledge of Git and modern branching strategies, including GitHub Flow Experience implementing infrastructure automation and platform engineering practices within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem Azure certifications and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex .NET technical problems Experience leveraging AI within integration software engineering (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted development and automation) Experience with tools such as Postman Enterprise, Azure Storage Explorer, draw.io, and Azure DevOps Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy
