Job description

Associate Trainer - Insurance

As an Associate Trainer, you will be working across multiple systems and applications, analyze, resolve a variety of complex technical issues, and comfortably navigating in a technical environment.

With the focus on our P&C Insurance Department , assignments will include development of presentations and online content, conducting web conferences, facilitating classroom training and delivering presentations.

Note: This position requires travel both within St. Louis, MO and out-of-state. 

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll train and educate new and existing employees in both technical skills and product knowledge primarily in classroom settings.

  • You’ll develop, establish and conduct virtual classes via web conference tools. This includes developing presentations for classroom and web conferences using adult learning methods.

  • You’ll consistently update management on progress of classes.

  • You’ll manage travel, complete expense reports, responding to emails/other forms of communication promptly submitting rosters accurately in a timely manner.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience with Insurance products or a Property & Casualty license recommended.

  • To thrive in this role, you have presentation skills in facilitating classes and leading discussions for both small and very large groups.

  • You possess creativity to enhance classroom education and presentation materials.

  • You have experience in one-on-one coaching and tutoring others.

  • You will have the ability to assimilate new information quickly. Demonstrates initiative to enhance knowledge and skill levels. Does not need to be monitored closely.

  • You have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks at hand. Flexible when priorities and projects suddenly change. Initiative to persevere in pursuit of critical information and in seeing projects through to completion.

  • You’ll use your personal vehicle for traveling and good driving records are required.

  • You’ll need Microsoft Suite experience. 

    · Intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills. 

    · Intermediate to Advanced Outlook. 

    · Basic Excel and Access skills desired.
