Job description

Responsibilities: Accesses and interprets multiple data sources pertinent to team sourcing activities, including client internal data, supplier provided data, budget projections, and market reports. Analyzes supplier proposals for value to client in a timely and accurate manner, using competitive intelligence, market reports, and client trends. Develops functional analytical models of sourcing scenarios under guidance of Service Line Leads, Subject Matter Experts, and/or Contract Managers.

Ensures all data and analysis presented meets quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and complies with internal accounting rules. Maintains accurate records of team savings impacts via internal database application. Provides support to the contract negotiation process by compiling, processing, and comparing contract information.

Prepares correspondence for distribution to vendors, participates in conference calls or meetings as requested. Assist the Director with miscellaneous projects and analyses as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 2-5 year's experience, or equivalent combination.

Previous work with contracts helpful but not required. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is detail-oriented. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with variables.

Previous work analyzing large data sets is essential. Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel required. Familiarity with MS Access, SQL Server, or any computer programming language is helpful.

Is highly skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including but not limited to intermediate knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. General understanding of healthcare industry from a financial and/or contracting standpoint helpful but not required. Able to communicate professionally, effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
