Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Approaches: Assess patients' needs to devise specialized treatment plans that help them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Evidence-Based Techniques: Engage in practices that elevate patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner effectively with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide knowledge and training to patients and their loved ones on therapeutic practices to encourage continued advancement at home
• Assess and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans accordingly, guaranteeing that patients make steady improvements

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
