One common challenge in Excel data cleaning is dealing with inconsistent or incomplete data, such as missing values, duplicate entries, or formatting issues. Effectively managing these challenges involves using Excel tools like filters, conditional formatting, and the 'Remove Duplicates' feature, as well as formulas like IF, ISBLANK, and VLOOKUP to identify and correct discrepancies.
