Job description

Cornerstone Construction Group, LLC is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in our Indianapolis office. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish is key resource in maintaining all construction file records for each project and providing critical reporting performance information for the President, VP of Admin, and Owner group. Experience with Procore, Sage, Microsoft Excel, and other standard Office software programs is essential. Experience in a construction organization is preferred. We areย seeking an experienced Construction Administrator for multiple ongoing and upcoming projects in the Indianapolis area. The Project Coordinator is an essential member of the construction and administrative teams, serving as a key resource in maintaining all construction file records for each project and providing critical reporting performance information for the President, VP of Admin, and Owner group. Experience with Procore, Sage, Microsoft Excel, and other standard Office software programs is essential. Experience in a construction organization is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesย include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

ยทGeneral office duties include but not limited to:ย 

ยท Composes and all types ofย routine correspondence.

ยท Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.

ยท Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.

ยท Completes general office tasks as needed including ordering of office supplies, servicing of office equipment, managing cell phone accounts, utility coordination etc.

Project Related Duties and Responsibilities:

ยท Responsible for project AIA, lien waivers, etc.

ยท Inputs project budget and commitments to accounting software.

ยท Conducts supplier and subcontractor verification.

ยท Prepares subcontracts and purchase agreements. Coordinates approval routing and distribution for documents.

ยท Prepares RFIs, CORs, Submittals, Cos, meeting minutes, and other documentation for Project Managers and Superintendents.

ยท Creates project resources in designated software and ensures records are input in system.

ยท Collects, organizes and reviews all certificates of insurance for coverage and limit compliance.

ยท Ensures key project documents are distributed to field and subs.

ยท Maintains project filing system โ€“ including all software application, shared drives, and hard files.

ยท Post monthly aerial photos.

ยท Assis Project Engineer with preparation warranty/ownerโ€™s manual.

ยท Assists Project Manager with monthly project review meetings including project cost forecasting.

ยท May provide training and supervisory support to Project Coordinators and Field Clerks.

ยทExperience/Skills

  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Must be very organized, with strong attention to detail; must stay on top of paperwork
  • Must be flexible and able to shift priorities as needed
  • Computer skills sufficient to enter reports and daily operations data into a computer
  • High level comprehension of multifamily and commercial construction projects from inception to completion
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Must be very organized, with strong attention to detail; must stay on top of paperwork
  • Must have experience reviewing and creating construction billing
  • Must be flexible and able to shift priorities as needed
  • Strong problem solving and analysis
  • Managerial experience strongly preferred
  • Computer skills sufficient to enter reports and daily operations data into a computer

Training/Education

ยท Bachelorโ€™s Degree from a four-year college or university or

ยท 5-10 years of related experience and/or training or

ยท Equivalent combination of education and experience
