Job description

The Accounting Assistant will provide support to Customers, Operations, Accounting Manager, Contracts Administrator, Maintenance and other departments as needed.

Essential Functions

  1. General accounting duties
  2. Human Resources duties
  3. Clerical tasks as needed (faxing, copying, filing, scheduling, etc.)
  4. Professionally represent the company to existing and future clients
  5. Assist with general office duties
  6. Maintain files on server
  7. Keep office areas clean and stocked
  8. Assist with general facilities duties/office duties

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The office is located at an airport and can be noisy.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, an employee in this position must be able to occasionally lift inventory items weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, or crouch.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. with after-hours availability for summertime travel bookings needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows operating system

  • Valid driver's license
