Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.

Minimum Qualifications

Entry level up to two (2) Years related experience in the design, layout, and installation of sort systems and material handling equipment, systems, and components preferred. knowledge of conveyor belt and conveying equipment as it pertains to freight handling or bulk material handling preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills. BSME required, FE preferred (passed the fundamentals of engineering exam)

Essential Functions

  • Provide preliminary and final engineering design for the department including sort buildings and material handling systems, associate equipment and systems from planning through construction
  • To provide engineering and support to the project management group and corporate divisions as required.
