Job description

What does a day in this role look like?
A person in this role will provide personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own home. Community Living Alliance provides all necessary training, so no experience is required. The schedule for this position is flexible and you can work around other jobs, childcare, school schedule, or other life scenarios. You can choose to work with one client, or with multiple clients if you want more hours. Each shift ranges from 1 to 3 hours. We have clients on bus routes or within walking distance depending on your location!
While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide while caring for an individual at Community Living Alliance:
Tasks (Not limited to) :
  • Personal cares (Includes but not limited to)
    • Showering/grooming
    • G-tube
    • Dressing
    • Meal preparation
    • Transfers/repositioning
    • Toileting (Full assist)
    • Bowel programs
  • Housekeeping
  • Any additional cares provided in the client's individual care plan

Hours:
  • Part-time (Not to exceed 30 hours a week)
    • AMs and PMs (preferred) available
      • Typical client hours between 7am-9pm

Wage:
  • Pay starts at $15.75/ hr
    • $1/ hr extra on weekends

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
  • MUST have a vehicle (travel for grocery shopping)
