Job description

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $17.17 – $25.51, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. 

Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth. 

Eligible employees may also participate in comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, and wage increase programs, depending on position type (full-time, part-time, or per diem) and applicable eligibility criteria.

Position Summary: EVS Associate I, Environmental Services. 

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and furnishings, using proper chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleans assigned area each day, including bathrooms, flooring, furnishings, flat surfaces, high surfaces, and trash receptacles.
  • Cleans the patient's furnishings and bed upon discharge following departmental procedures/standards for check-out.
  • Cleans the assigned area utilizing proper chemicals.
  • Cleans assigned area utilizing appropriate equipment.
  • Obtains supplies and equipment at the beginning of each shift and puts supplies and equipment away at the end of each shift.
  • Maintains cart, caddy, equipment, and janitors closets in an orderly fashion.
  • Cleans the assigned area in a designated time frame.
  • Executes a job with little supervision. 
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.  
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
