We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Evolve Spine and Sports Physical Therapy in Carteret, New Jersey. This full-time role requires a proactive approach to evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs tailored to each patient’s unique needs, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.

This position is based onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Carteret, where our enthusiastic team fosters a collaborative atmosphere. Our clinicians work within a framework of evidence-based methods to ensure that every patient receives comprehensive, effective treatment. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and resources that enhance our therapeutic offering and patient outcomes.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, crafting detailed and personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress towards their recovery goals.
• Provide skilled care for a diverse range of patients, specializing in orthopedics but also catering to pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques and preventive measures to support sustained wellness.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, ensuring consistency with the physician’s plan of care.
• Exceed expectations for customer service, contributing to the overall effectiveness and perception of the clinic.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute positively to the business objectives of the facility.

The clientele at Evolve Spine and Sports encompasses a wide variety of demographic backgrounds, with a focus on patients experiencing orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic conditions. Our holistic approach allows us to attend to the specific needs of each individual, making use of advanced modalities and rehabilitation techniques.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients effectively.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with evidence-based practice methodologies and innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Familiarity with community engagement and relationship-building is desirable.
• A strong desire to mentor junior staff and interns.
