• Establish rapport with clients through empathy, active listening, and trust-building techniques.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health issues accurately.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, considering their background, challenges, and goals.
• Facilitate individual therapy and couples counseling sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques according to the specific context of each session.
• Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and external resources to provide holistic support to clients.

As an LMFT at Heart Mind Soul Therapy, Inc., you will have the unique privilege of working with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and life transitions. You will also focus on families navigating complex dynamics and children and adolescents facing developmental challenges. Your role is vital in helping these clients develop healthier coping mechanisms and fostering stronger relationships.

• Currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of therapeutic frameworks and ability to apply evidence-based practices.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on building relationships and facilitating open dialogue.

• Experience in addiction counseling, particularly with evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Proven expertise in motivating clients and fostering their independence in managing mental health issues.
• Previous experience working in a remote or telehealth-focused environment is highly valued.
