Job description

The Undergraduate Assistant will support a computational research project investigating eco-evolutionary dynamics in microbial communities exposed to rapid environmental change. The student will be trained to work in a Unix/Linux computing environment and to execute parallel simulation workflows. Primary responsibilities will include running and monitoring computational simulations, organizing and managing simulation output, collecting and summarizing data, and assisting with quantitative analyses of ecological and evolutionary outcomes across environmental scenarios.

The position will provide hands-on training in computational biology, evolutionary modeling, reproducible research practices, and data analysis.
