Graceworks Enhanced Living offers residential and day programming to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in four Ohio counties. We believes people thrive when they can live with compassion and experience inherent worth. Each member of our staff is trained in the Gentle Teaching approach which encourages building a place where minds are engaged and happiness is allowed to grow. Our residential living services and 24/7 care bring unconditional love, security and community to people with intellectual and developmental challenges.

Position description: 

  • Direct Support Professionals are caregivers. No experience is necessary, training is provided.
  • The ideal candidate is someone who is a naturally kind and compassionate person that would enjoy helping people and having fun with them.
  • DSPs often take care of daily needs; cooking, cleaning, transportation, medication assistance, bathing etc. On occasion, they will take individuals bowling or to the movies, and often join individuals at church or volunteer events.

The goal is to help our residents feel and become as independent as possible while they live their daily lives. Be a companion; learn to be a caregiver for someone in your community!

Part Time every weekend or Every Other weekend Saturday and Sunday 7a-3p and 7a-7pm shifts available 

Compensation: From $16.00 / hour - Pay can be increased with verified care giving experience. We also offer a $2 shift differential for weekend warriors (having a set schedule of working every weekend)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Ohio Driverโ€™s License with fewer than 6 points on driving record
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Able to pass background check
