Responsibilities
  • Manage the setup and breakdown and oversee the hosting of onsite and offsite catering events, including management and supervision of back of house (BOH) and front of house (FOH) operations teams, in consultation and collaboration with clients, sales and catering teams, vendors and others
  • Present invoices to guests, accurately process payments, and balance sales/receipts
  • Comprehend and execute specific catering event instructions and timelines, and respond quickly to changing priorities as well as expedite any contract changes as communicated from the Sales & Catering team
  • Ensure all event setups/breakdowns are performed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with onsite AV/Technical team and assist with set up/breakdown, operation and maintenance of in-house audio visual equipment as needed
  • Attend tastings and meetings and communicate pertinent information to appropriate members of the team
  • Partner with GM and designated managers and trainers to interview, hire, onboard, train, schedule, supervise and develop catering team employees
  • Maintain a list of preferred vendors including but not limited to vendors for valet parking companies, security companies, etc.
  • Model and promote teamwork across all teams
  • Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and employees, and respond with patience and courtesy
  • Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed
  • Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of Catering Operations / Events experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Skilled in leading and developing teams

Salary Range
USD $55,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
