BACKGROUND:
GEODIS Park - home of Nashville SC - is the largest soccer specific stadium in the United States and one of the premier sports and entertainment venues in the country. Since opening in 2022, GEODIS Park has hosted several concerts, FIFA Club World Cup, U.S. Men's & Women's National Teams, Mexico & Korea Men's National Teams and future LA28 Olympic Soccer Matches.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Nashville Soccer Club is seeking an Event & Parking Operations Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of exterior events while assisting with parking logistics and traffic management across the venue footprint. This position plays a key role in supporting event day operations, coordinating exterior event logistics, maintaining operational resources, and contributing to a seamless experience for guests, clients, and event participants at GEODIS Park.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, operationally savvy, calm under pressure, and experienced in managing complex logistics in a live-event environment. This position will work closely with various stakeholders, so communication and organization will be paramount to the success of the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a key liaison between guests, clients, internal departments, and third-party vendors on all-event day exterior activities (i.e. - Fan Activation Area, Supporter Tailgating)
  • Plan and oversee end-to-end execution of exterior events, including 5K runs and walking events, ensuring seamless operations and a positive participant experience.
  • Assist the Event & Parking Operations Manager in ensuring the venue's parking management company is properly staff and positioned on event day.
  • Schedule and liaise with vendor supplying event day staff shuttles.
  • Procure and manage inventory of exterior event and parking-related equipment (i.e - Portable Restrooms, Light Towers, Cones, Signage etc.).
  • Maintain documentation including standard operating procedures, checklists, and training manuals for parking and event operations.
  • Assist in preparation, setup, organization and placement of all vehicle directional and exterior pedestrian signs.
  • Maintain a professional, service-oriented relationship with guests, clients and partners attending events at GEODIS Park.
  • Complete all duties as assigned, on a timely basis, and with a high degree of professionalism.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • Qualified Promise Zone residents given priority treatment.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to take constructive criticism and change direction to suit operational and client needs.
  • Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the Club.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the complexity of events and the hours that go into successful planning and activation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Must be able to work events from start to finish throughout the year which includes days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
