Key Responsibilities

  • The Events Assistant ManagerΒ is responsible forΒ operational excellence across all phases of event planning and execution.Β 

  • Leads eventΒ logisticsΒ for onsiteΒ events, including corporate functions, weddings, VIP tastings, and TWE brand activations.Β 

  • Conducts site inspections with clients and vendors.

  • Oversees event setup, execution, and breakdown.

  • Acts as the onsite host and TWE representative, directing staff, resolving issues, and ensuring premium guest experiences.Β 

  • Manages client relationships before, during, and after events

  • Coordinates staffing needs, including booking temporary staff whenΒ required.Β 

  • Partners with vendors

  • Supports event planning by confirming client details

  • Utilizes TWE's event management software to update event details.Β 

  • Hosts weekly crossfunctional meetings with Event, Hospitality, and Trade Education teamsΒ and provides recaps.Β Β 

  • Promotes wine sales during events, including shipping and carryout opportunities.Β 

  • Serves as the Safety Lead for the Events Department.

  • Collaborates on new event concepts and enhancements to TWE's private event offerings.Β This includes crafting vision boards for the look and feel for all events.Β Β Β 

  • Supports special projects and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.Β 

  • Conduct regular inventory audits andΒ maintainΒ organized storage areasΒ

About you

  • 2-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, or restaurant serviceΒ 
  • Peoplemanagement experience preferredΒ 
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and selfmotivated
  • Ability to present confidently to groups of all sizes
  • Professional brandaligned presence.Β 
  • Wine and food knowledgeΒ 
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and hospitality.Β 
  • Valid California driver's license.Β 
  • Availability for extended hours, holidays, and weekends.Β 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employeeΒ is regularly required toΒ sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.Β Β The employeeΒ frequentlyΒ is required toΒ stand and walk. Standing forΒ long periodsΒ of time on event days.Β This role requires to be on your feet for 8 hours during events while outsideΒ Β

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, internal equity, and market considerations.
