Summary: The Senior Manager, Events is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of all events across B2B, DTC, and internal corporate channels. This role oversees trade shows, symposiums, master classes, ambassador summits, consumer activations, and internal events such as the Global Sales Meeting, ensuring flawless logistics, vendor management, and event marketing. The Senior Manager partners closely with Professional Relations on event strategy and content while owning all operational execution to deliver high-impact brand experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of B2B events including trade shows, symposiums, Master Class, and physician education programs.
Oversee DTC events including ambassador summits, influencer activations, and consumer experiences in partnership with the Consumer Marketing team.
Plan and execute internal corporate events including the annual Global Sales Meeting, leadership offsites, and employee engagement events.
Manage all event logistics including venue selection, vendor contracts, catering, A/V, signage, registration, and on-site execution.
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution while maintaining brand standards.
Partner with Professional Relations to align event execution with strategic objectives, speaker programming, and attendee invitations.
Coordinate event marketing materials, invitations, pre/post communications, and promotional assets with Creative and Marketing teams.
Manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and cross-functional workback schedules to ensure seamless delivery.
Lead and develop the Events Lead, ensuring proper delegation and professional growth.
Oversee on-ground content capture strategy at events, partnering with Events Lead to ensure lo-fi and professional content is captured for social and marketing use.
Track event performance metrics, attendee feedback, and ROI; prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.
Represent ZO Skin Health at events and industry functions, ensuring brand standards and professional presence.
Monitor industry trends and competitor events to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
6+ years of experience in event management, preferably within beauty, skincare, medical aesthetics, or premium consumer brands.
Proven track record of managing large-scale B2B, consumer, and corporate events with budgets of $200K+.
Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing direct reports and developing team members.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30-40%) for event execution.
Proficiency in event management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
