Position Overview: This position will focus on managing, coordinating, planning and supporting global trade shows and events. To ensure success in this role the candidate should be detail-oriented, highly responsive, and manage multiple initiatives including project planning, schedule development, PO creation, database maintenance, sales support and report preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for implementing strategy, planning, booth design, project management, prebrief and debrief meetings for all trade shows and events
• Plans trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements
• Provides a debrief on all trade shows and events including financial
• Ensure projects remain on budget
• Develops schedules and assignments for key ongoing trade show and events
• Owns and is responsible for master events calendar and project coordination of all tradeshow and events
• Works alongside the Marketing team to determine content and execution plan for each initiative
• Works alongside exhibit house to ensure directions are carried out
• Oversees requests and inventories for marketing materials, product demos, and digital assets
• Coordinates layout and graphics for the event
• Supports coordination and shipping for all items needing to be shipped to and from trade shows and events
• Manage payment and invoicing for trade show and events initiatives
• Works cross-functionally with accounting for all vendor set-up and billing as well tracking marketing spend by tracking expenses on the marketing budget
• Other Marketing duties as assigned
Key Competencies and Skills Required:
• Demonstrates ability to handle multiple trade show planning and events at the same time
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Strong facilitation and project management, planning, critical-thinking, teamwork and organizational skills
• Ability to respond quickly, thoroughly and accurately to internal and external customer requests
• Experience in supporting a marketing plan and understanding the needs of a marketing team
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to a wide range of audiences
• Team player, but is also a self-starter
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Enjoys operating in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Marketing support experience in High-Tech industry preferred
• 5 years' experience supporting customer events and Trade Shows

RSU Eligible
This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM's discretion, subject to individual and company performance.
Salary Range
The Salary Range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
