Job Description
We're looking for a passionate, energetic, flexible, and reliable individual who has experience in the event management or hospitality industrywho is excited about building and growing their career. This position will support multiple team members as it relates to sales, strategy, and marketing goals while also learning how to navigate building and cultivating network contacts to secure new business. Our ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, driven, committed and a dedicated team player.
Successful candidates will have the following:
  • 1-2 years of experience in the event management industry in either a sales, business development or operations capacity. Industry-related experience applies - hotel, destination management, production, tradeshow management, travel director, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills - including: written, interpersonal, and public speaking
  • Client presentation skills
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with Cvent preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed

What you would be doing at Unbridled:
  • Learn, understand, and display clear understanding of our full suite of services
  • Qualify leads
  • Monitor Sales inbox and phone line
  • Assist Sales and Strategy team with proposals
  • Support Sales Managers with contract negotiation and execution
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams as it relates to sales goals
  • Business Development:
    • Locateor proposepotential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities through cold calling and networking
    • Use effective organizational skills to successfully manage call lists
    • Distribute company marketing material to prospective buyers
    • Prospecting research
  • Project budget support
  • Venue sourcing and site visit management
  • Develop positive relationships with all departments and support client business with project research and sourcing
  • Contract and invoice tracking
  • Job requires some evening and weekend hours preparing proposals and attending industry functions such as hotel presentations, tradeshows, industry events, etc.
