Dr Delphinium, Dallas’ premier florist, is seeking a dependable and motivated Operations Support Associate to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly across multiple departments, including warehouse, delivery, processing, design, and event installation.


As an Operations Support Associate, you’ll help ensure the efficient flow of materials, products, and logistics throughout the company. From assisting with floral processing and inventory organization to supporting the design team and helping bring events to life, this is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, follow-through, and a team-first mindset. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Processing Team with receiving, unpacking, cutting, hydrating, and organizing floral shipments.
  • Monitor product quality in the cooler and ensure proper handling and storage of flowers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant processing area and cooler.
  • Prepare floral products and materials for the design and delivery teams.
  • Receive and organize incoming materials, event supplies, and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the warehouse remains orderly and efficient.
  • Prepare, pack, and label materials for deliveries, events, and installations.
  • Assist with deliveries and pickups, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate transport of products.
  • Load and unload vehicles with care, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
  • Support coordination of logistics between internal teams and drivers.
  • Assist designers and design assistants with production tasks, setup, and breakdown.
  • Participate in event installations, ensuring design layouts meet Dr Delphinium’s standards of excellence.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of workspaces, production areas, and event tools.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in operations, warehouse, logistics, or event support preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a cooler (approx. 32°F) for extended periods.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required).
  • Proactive problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, especially during peak event seasons.
  • Saturday availability required.
  • Tobacco-free workplace; adherence to company policy required during working hours
  • Must pass a drug test and background check.
