ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.
While this is a non-tipped position, it offers something unique: a steady, reliable schedule, a consistent customer base, and a chance to be part of a positive, collaborative culture where team members are encouraged to learn, grow, and build long-term careers. Belmont Village is a place where your service makes a daily difference-and where your contributions are recognized.
Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community.
YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
  • Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
  • Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
  • Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
  • Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.
