Special Event Dates: September 3-16, 2026
Position Summary Treston Security Services is hiring professional and dependable Special Event Security Officers to support security operations for a major special event in Anaheim, California.Special Event Security Officers will help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, employees, exhibitors, vendors, contractors, and event personnel. Officers may be assigned to entrances, convention halls, guest areas, restricted-access locations, corridors, escalators, loading areas, or other designated security posts.
Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, excellent attendance, and the ability to remain attentive in a busy special-event environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional and visible security presence at the assigned post.
  • Welcome guests and provide courteous directions or assistance.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, corridors, event halls, and restricted areas.
  • Verify badges, credentials, wristbands, and other approved access documents.
  • Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted or secured areas.
  • Assist with guest screening, line management, and crowd movement.
  • Monitor doors, emergency exits, escalators, and designated access points.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, unattended property, and policy violations.
  • Immediately report medical emergencies, disturbances, unauthorized access, or unusual activity.
  • Follow post orders, radio procedures, emergency protocols, and supervisor instructions.
  • Assist with evacuations, emergency response, and incident-area control when directed.
  • Complete incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding event operations and restricted information.
  • Remain at the assigned post until properly relieved.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid and current California BSIS Guard Card.
  • Previous security, special-event, convention, hospitality, entertainment, or customer-service experience is preferred.
  • Must communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and available for the full assigned shift.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must remain calm and professional in crowded or fast-moving environments.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be available for assigned shifts occurring between September 3 and September 16, 2026.

California security guards are required to carry a valid and current security guard registration while on duty, subject to the state's approved-registration provisions. (BSIS)
