Position Summary

Treston Security Services is hiring experienced Special Event Security Supervisors to lead security personnel assigned to a major special event in Anaheim, California.

Special Event Security Supervisors will oversee officers assigned to designated halls, entrances, zones, restricted areas, overnight operations, or specialized workgroups. Supervisors are responsible for employee accountability, post deployment, break coordination, performance monitoring, incident response, and communication with event security management.

This position requires strong leadership, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee check-in, roll call, pre-shift briefings, and deployment.
  • Confirm that all assigned posts are properly staffed.
  • Ensure officers understand their post orders and responsibilities.
  • Review emergency procedures, radio channels, escalation protocols, and event expectations.
  • Maintain accurate staffing, attendance, deployment, and break records.
  • Conduct routine post inspections throughout the shift.
  • Monitor officer appearance, conduct, alertness, and performance.
  • Coordinate meal periods and rest breaks without creating coverage gaps.
  • Address late arrivals, call-offs, uniform concerns, and post-performance issues.
  • Respond to incidents and provide immediate field supervision.
  • Support officers during guest concerns, disturbances, medical calls, access-control issues, and emergencies.
  • Escalate significant security, safety, staffing, or operational concerns to management.
  • Redeploy personnel based on crowd conditions and operational priorities.
  • Coordinate with event management, venue personnel, medical teams, production departments, and other authorized partners.
  • Ensure incidents are properly documented and reported.
  • Complete supervisor logs, incident reports, staffing records, and end-of-shift summaries.
  • Provide a complete turnover briefing to the incoming supervisor or manager.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned radios, credentials, keys, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid and current California BSIS Guard Card.
  • Previous security supervisory, team-lead, or management experience is required.
  • Large-event, convention-center, entertainment, hospitality, or venue-security experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with crowd management, access control, incident response, and report writing.
  • Ability to supervise multiple officers and operational priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by radio and in writing.
  • Must remain calm and professional during active incidents.
  • Must be available for required briefings and assigned shifts between September 3 and September 16, 2026.

Work Schedule and Conditions

  • Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and extended shifts may be available.
  • Supervisors may be required to arrive before officer check-in.
  • Shift dates, hours, and assigned areas will depend on operational needs.
  • Supervisors must be prepared to walk throughout a large venue.
  • Assignments and staffing responsibilities may change during the event.
