Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring dependable Unarmed Event Security Officers to support the safety and security of guests, staff, vendors, and event property during scheduled events in the Arvada area. This position requires individuals who are professional, attentive, and capable of maintaining a calm, welcoming presence while helping ensure events operate safely and efficiently.
Successful candidates enjoy working with the public, remain alert in busy environments, and can respond appropriately to changing situations.
Key Responsibilities
Event Security Operations
  • Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned event areas.
  • Conduct routine walking patrols before, during, and after events.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and pedestrian traffic.
  • Help protect attendees, employees, equipment, and event property.
  • Observe activities and identify potential security or safety concerns.

Access Control & Crowd Safety
  • Verify authorized access to designated event areas.
  • Assist with directing guests and maintaining orderly movement throughout the venue.
  • Monitor crowd conditions and notify supervisors of developing concerns.
  • Help enforce event policies and client procedures professionally and respectfully.

Incident Response
  • Respond promptly to security concerns, medical situations, or disturbances.
  • Report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to event leadership.
  • Assist emergency responders and management when necessary.
  • Follow established emergency procedures and site-specific instructions.

Documentation & Communication
