Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is expanding its event staffing team and is seeking professional, dependable Event Security Officers to assist with a variety of assignments throughout the Denver area. Officers may work concerts, sporting events, festivals, private functions, corporate gatherings, and community events.
This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working in public-facing environments, maintaining awareness in active settings, and providing exceptional service while supporting venue safety. Assignments vary by location and event type, creating opportunities to work at different venues and gain broad event security experience.
Key Responsibilities
Crowd Safety & Venue Operations
  • Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned event locations
  • Monitor crowd activity and help promote a safe, orderly environment
  • Observe for unsafe conditions, disturbances, or suspicious behavior
  • Assist with crowd movement during event entry, peak attendance periods, and venue exits
  • Support event staff with maintaining organized guest flow

Access Control & Screening
  • Verify tickets, credentials, badges, wristbands, or authorized access permissions
  • Monitor designated entry and exit locations
  • Conduct bag inspections or screening procedures when required by venue policies
  • Help secure restricted or staff-only areas
  • Reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy violations

Customer Service & Guest Assistance
