  • Technical Drawing: Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as Vectorworks Spotlight, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Depence. that show the exact placement of lighting fixtures, trussing, motor hoist, sfx, stage elements, and other elements of the show to produce a consolidate drawing for all departments.
  • Data Management: Utilizing the built in database tools in Vectorworks to manage patching, DMX addressing, and fixture schedules.
  • Virtual Visualization: Building 3D set models and conducting virtual walkthroughs to help visualize Scenic elements to present to executive team.
  • Collaboration: Liaising with the Design Team to ensure the lighting, video, rigging and other scenic elements are accurately placed.
  • Site Surveying: Visit stadiums, arenas or other locations to take manual measurements and photos to ensure the "as-built" digital model matches the physical space.
  • Workflow Translation: Convert PDFs of architectural blueprints or art department sketches into functional Vectorworks files.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience managing and designing theater, live event productions, with television production experience strongly preferred.
  • Moderate proficiency in CAD-based design programs; experience with AutoCAD and/or SketchUp is also desirable.
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks: Strong 2D and 3D Vectorworks Spotlight skills, including layer and class management. Experience in live entertainment, events, or theater.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to create precise, accurate, and organized technical documents.
  • Passion for WWE, sports entertainment, and live entertainment is preferred.
  • Must be able to work traditional and non-traditional hours.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
