We're actively seeking a talented, detail oriented tech savvy Sr Event Technologist to join our Events Team in Newport Beach, CA. In this role you will oversee the use of the Cvent event management platform for the planning and execution of business meetings, continuing education webinars, and social events. May participate in defining requirements and selecting software vendors. This role primarily supports the Consumer Markets Division but also provides services to other departments across the organization.
How you'll help move us forward:
  • Manage the daily operations within the Cvent platform, including building and launching event registration websites, managing attendee lists, executing event communications, and preparing post-event analytics and reports.
  • Maintain and administer Cvent Access Portal user accounts, update content, and publish reports.
  • Secure compliance and Broker/Dealer approvals for events and communications, ensuring all materials meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide support and training to field and support staff on Cvent functionality, event logistics, and compliance procedures.
  • Train and mentor registration coordinators on best practices for Cvent builds and the Broker/Dealer approval process.
  • Serve as a key member of the API Integration Working Group, overseeing and managing integrations between Cvent and platforms such as Zoom, GoTo Webinar, Salesforce, and other systems as required by evolving business needs. Oversee platform upgrades and configuration changes for the Cvent account.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for the group meetings program, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Division on the Cvent Group Meetings Process, leading strategic initiatives and future-state planning efforts.

The experience you bring:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven experience with Cvent Event Management software, including advanced knowledge of platform features and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of event planning workflows and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$113,490.00 - $138,710.00
