We are seeking an experienced Audio Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex live event productions. This role is ideal for a seasoned live event audio professional with strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, leadership skills, and established industry relationships.

This is not a traditional sales role. Success in this position is driven by technical credibility, project execution excellence, client trust, and leadership within the professional audio industry. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing audio projects from concept through execution while contributing to the long-term growth and leadership of the audio department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage professional audio projects from initial client inquiry through successful event execution.

  • Design and deploy large-format PA systems for live events.

  • Develop equipment lists, labor plans, truck packs, and production schedules.

  • Advance shows with clients, vendors, and production teams.

  • Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality standards.

  • Lead and supervise audio crews, technicians, and freelance personnel.

  • Translate client objectives into effective technical production solutions.

  • Ensure seamless execution of live events with minimal oversight.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted technical resource.

  • Support departmental growth through operational leadership and process improvement.

  • Contribute to staff development, mentoring, and training initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with L-Acoustics systems.

  • Proficiency with ArrayCalc and/or Soundvision software.

  • System deployment, optimization, and tuning experience.
