Job description

PhotoMules is hiring Event Photographers/Sales Associates to work outdoor youth sports tournaments. This is a fast paced, weekend role focused on customer interaction, event photography, and on-site sales. Ideal for professionals with backgrounds in teaching, education, coaching, youth programs, retail, hospitality, food service, customer service, or community engagement who enjoy working with students, families, and teams.

No photography experience required. We provide all equipment and training!

Location: Greenville, SC (regional weekend travel required along east coast)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work outdoors at sports complexes and athletic fields

  • Assist with team and individual photos before games

  • Capture sample photos to generate interest and drive sales

  • Engage parents, athletes, coaches, and families in a friendly, high-energy way

  • Use strong communication and relationship-building skills to create positive customer interactions

  • Explain photo packages and close on-site sales

  • Upsell promotions and create great customer experiences

  • Help with event setup, breakdown, and equipment

  • Travel to weekend events across the East Coast (travel covered)

What We’re Looking For

  • Outgoing and comfortable talking to customers, parents, and youth athletes

  • Sales-motivated or commission-driven mindset

  • Reliable, energetic, and team-oriented

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer engagement skills

  • Experience in teaching, education, coaching, childcare, youth programs, recreation, retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, coffee shops, guest services, event staffing, or other customer-facing roles is a plus

  • Comfortable standing and walking all day (up to 10 miles)

  • Able to work outdoors in heat, sun, and varying weather

  • Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday)

  • Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and reliable vehicle that can travel 5+ hours
