About the opportunity
QIAGEN is seeking proactive and energetic Summer Interns to support the North America Regional Marketing team with trade show and event operations, marketing coordination, and marketing operations. This internship provides hands-on experience across various elements of marketing operations - include event execution, marketing, and operations supporting the North America commercial team within a fast-paced life sciences and diagnostics environment. QIAGEN - Germantown, Maryland (Head Office, 3+ months)


Your tasks include:

  • Support execution of trade shows and events, including maintaining event calendars, tracking registrations, and organizing exhibitor communications

  • Assist with pre-event logistics such as prep sheets, shipment tracking, and event kit assembly

  • Manage and organize marketing data in systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Seismic

  • Track leads, support campaign setup, and maintain accurate event and campaign records

  • Contribute to post-event reporting by compiling survey results, summarizing insights, and supporting ROI tracking

  • Assist with marketing content creation, including basic social media posts and email templates

  • Conduct research on target audiences, industry associations, and event opportunities

The typical pay rate for this role is $15/hour. This temporary and/or contract position is not eligible for QIAGEN's company benefits. The position includes only those benefits mandated by applicable state and federal law, if any, which are provided by the agency employer.
