Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
- Greet guests and provide prompt customer service.
- Verify guest identification before serving alcoholic beverages.
- Refuse alcohol service when required by law or company policy, including to underage or intoxicated guests.
- Follow all federal, state, local, and company alcohol service regulations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Restock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked throughout each event.
- Assist with barback duties, as needed.
- Assist with beverage service during private events when assigned.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Work with supervisors and other team members to support event operations.
- Assist with opening, closing, setup, and breakdown of bar areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
- Must obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certification (such as TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or other state-required certification) before working.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash accurately.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support different event needs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
