Job description

Job Summary:

A Rental Attendant is a part-time position whose main responsibility is to provide on-site assistance during Special Event bookings or Amphitheater bookings.

Essential Functions:

1. Secure District facilities upon opening or closing, including but not limited to lights, doors, securing park gates, etc.
2. Remain on-site during rental events as the primary contact for renters, ensuring questions, concerns, and facility-related needs are addressed promptly.
3. Enforce rules and proper usage of facilities.
4. Greet all visitors courteously, attend to their needs, and provide them with appropriate information.
5. Perform basic custodial duties to maintain rental/program space and bathrooms for public and rental use.
6. Perform setup of rental space, including but not limited to tables and chairs, as depicted by floor plan.
7. Check and restock supplies, as needed, including bathrooms and first aid kits.
8. Ensure all trash is in the correct receptacles at the end of the rental.
9. Complete the applicable facility checklist at the end of the rental to determine if the deposit should be returned.
10. Notify the immediate Supervisor immediately if there is a concern that could affect the facility or next rental.
11. Responsible for completing Incident/Accident Reports, as needed.
12. Know and follow emergency action procedures; assist others in emergency situations.
13. Perform other Park District related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
An individual with knowledge and experience in event planning, coordination, or special event operations, gained through education, work experience, or the successful implementation of events in other organizations. Must enjoy working with the public and have a commitment to delivering high-quality events and programs.
Salary
$17-$22/hr per hour depending on qualifications
