Job Description: Platform Residential Resident Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented administrative and marketing associate to join our team as our Resident Coordinator 40+ hours per week. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Youโ€™ll support daily office tasks, conduct apartment and general property tours, handle social media marketing, assist with resident follow-ups, and help plan events to foster a vibrant community.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales
    • Conduct apartment and general property tours.
    • Handle telephone and online inquiries.
    • Assist with in-person applications and inquiries.
    • Conduct prospect follow up.
    • Ensures the office, models, amenities, target apartments and market ready apartments are in perfect condition. Cleans, vacuums and dusts as needed.
    • Physically inspect property when on grounds, pick up litter and report any service needs to maintenance staff. Inspect move-outs and vacancies.
    • Comply with all local, state and federal regulations as well as all company policies and procedures.
  2. Administrative Support
    • Handle phone calls and emails with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Maintain organized files, records, and office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • Assist with data entry, appointment scheduling, and general office coordination.
  3. Social Media Marketing
    • Create, schedule, and post engaging content on social media platforms to connect with residents and attract new prospects.
    • Respond to social media messages, comments, and inquiries to foster an online community.
    • Support social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to encourage resident interaction.
    • Track and report social media engagement to help optimize our outreach.
  4. Resident Follow-Up
    • Conduct proactive follow-ups with residents to gather feedback and address any concerns.
    • Provide timely responses to resident inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and support.
    • Assist in the renewal process, encouraging early renewals to maintain occupancy.
  5. Event Planning and Coordination
    • Help plan and coordinate resident events, from theme selection to event setup.
    • Manage event logistics, including setup, decor, catering, and entertainment.
    • Promote events on social media and other channels to maximize resident participation.
    • Gather feedback post-event to continuously improve future experiences.
  6. Marketing and Content Creation
    • Draft newsletters, flyers, and marketing materials to inform residents of community news, events, and promotions.
    • Design simple visuals using Canva or similar tools for social media and event promotion.
    • Bring creative ideas to enhance community engagement and resident satisfaction.
  7. Customer Service
    • Provide friendly and professional assistance to residents, prospective residents, and visitors.
    • Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our communityโ€™s values and enhances the resident and prospect experience.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Positive, motivated, and able to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Experience in customer service, event planning, or marketing is a bonus.
Work Schedule:

This is a 40+ hour per week position, with the expectation of working on Saturdays.
