What Drives Success

The Senior Manager, Events & Incentives is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of Lennox-sponsored events, conferences, meetings, customer engagements, and corporate programs. This role oversees a team of event professionals responsible for delivering high-impact experiences that strengthen customer relationships, enhance brand visibility, and support business objectives.

The Senior Manager serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, ensuring events align with organizational priorities while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position oversees all aspects of event operations, including budgeting, venue selection, contract negotiations, vendor management, logistics, and post-event evaluation. The role requires a highly collaborative leader with strong project management, negotiation, and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of event management professionals responsible for planning and executing corporate events, conferences, customer meetings, and special programs.
  • Establish department goals, performance standards, and development plans for team members.
  • Foster a customer-focused, service-oriented culture that drives high-quality event experiences.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to ensure team effectiveness and professional growth.

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that support business objectives, customer engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Partner with executive leadership to design impactful customer-facing and internal events.
  • Oversee event planning from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and customer expectations.
  • Evaluate event performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Program Planning & Management

  • Direct the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, meetings, trade shows, customer events, and corporate functions.
  • Ensure all event logistics, timelines, deliverables, and operational requirements are effectively managed.
  • Oversee venue selection, accommodations, catering, transportation, audiovisual requirements, and event amenities.
  • Conduct site inspections to evaluate facilities and ensure event requirements and quality standards are met.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure responsible allocation of resources while maximizing event impact.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with executive leadership, sales, marketing, communications, and business leaders to develop event objectives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure events effectively communicate business priorities and brand messaging.
  • Engage customers, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and guests to ensure positive event experiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex event-related issues and stakeholder concerns.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Lead negotiations with hotels, conference centers, vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Develop and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms, service quality, and budget compliance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key event partners and vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement processes, tools, and best practices that drive consistency and efficiency across event programs.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to measure event effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance attendee engagement and event experiences through innovative solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, risk management standards, and event-related regulations.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends, event technologies, and customer engagement strategies.
What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in event management, conference planning, hospitality, marketing events, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership or management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale corporate events with significant customer-facing impact.
  • Demonstrated success managing event budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and event management technologies.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $122K-$159,600 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
