La Posada at Pusch Ridge, an upscale retirement community in Oro Valley, AZ, is seeking Part-Time Servers to join our dining team. This is a unique opportunity to create an exceptional dining experience for our residents.
As a Server, you will provide attentive service by taking orders, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring each dining experience reflects La Posada's high standards of hospitality. You will also support special events, respond to resident needs, and collaborate closely with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service.

Essential Functions
  • Take orders from patrons for food or beverages.
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
  • Prepares food and condiment items needed according to the daily production chart and other food activities.
  • Operates, cleans, and maintains kitchen equipment used in food preparation.
  • Maintains work, and storage areas including sweeping/mopping the kitchen floor, cleaning the walls/ceilings and other structures.
  • Checks for accuracy and separates orders for residents.
  • Delivers carts/trays to proper service location, and aids with room set-up as needed.
  • Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
  • Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
  • Inform customers of daily specials.
  • Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining.
  • Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine.
  • Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
  • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
  • Prepare freshly brewed coffee and tea as needed.
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
  • Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers.
  • Escort customers to their tables.
  • Other duties as assigned.
