Job description

Who we are:  La Clnica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Answering community questions regarding HIV statistics and information  - Provide basic information about HIV and the importance of getting tested
  • Providing resources for those seeking assistance via program databases provide HIV related services resources available in the community
  • Going to events to promote HIV prevention and testing attend outreach events and help promote HIV prevention and testing
  • Providing free HIV testing kits at events and instructions of proper use   Refer people interested in testing to our testing counselors
  • Helping efforts with SF annual AIDS Walk (SF AIDS Foundation) Help with coordination of the SF AIDS Walk
  • Promoting La Clinica TRUCHA at community events across Bay Area promote La Clinica TRUCHAs HIV services at community events across the Bay Area.
