Permanent Positions we are looking to Fill

P1: Tuesday to Thursday 0945-1745

P2: Saturday and Sunday 0945-1745

P3: Saturday and Sunday 0700-1900

Responsibilities for Museum Security Guard
  • Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
  • Manage access control
  • Perform regular interior patrols to ensure site safety and compliance with museum policies
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Complete daily activity and incident reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage crowds, ensuring they remain orderly and safe during events, and exhibitions.
  • Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras.
  • Manage entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and granting authorized access.
Qualifications for Museum Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Manitoba security license
  • First aid certification an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
  • French language skills not Mandatory but an asset
  • Be able to provide proof of PR status or Canadian citizen status duet to reliability clearances requirement.
