Job description

Position Overview

A high-volume, beerhall and event-driven hospitality concept is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Beerhall Manager to lead operations and drive business growth.

This is not a traditional management role. This position requires a sales-driven, creative operator who can build energy in the space, develop events and festivals, and consistently identify new opportunities to increase traffic and revenue.

The ideal candidate is a true self-starter who takes full ownership of the business, leads from the floor, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

What We’re Looking For

A revenue-focused leader who understands how to drive sales, not just manage operations
A creative thinker who can develop events, festivals, and promotions that attract new and repeat guests
A hands-on operator comfortable working on the floor across all functions
A strong leader who can motivate teams while holding them accountable
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple revenue streams
Analytical and data-driven, with experience using POS systems to track performance
Comfortable working nights, weekends, and in high-volume environments

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Business Development

Drive overall Beerhall revenue through strategic planning and execution
Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales initiatives
Identify slow periods and create targeted promotions to increase traffic
Create and execute large-scale events, including festivals, live entertainment, and themed experiences
Build partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and influencers
Identify and develop new revenue streams such as private events and ticketed experiences
Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies in real time

Event & Festival Programming

Own the full lifecycle of events from concept through execution and post-event analysis
Develop a year-round event calendar to ensure consistent traffic
Ensure events are profitable, well-executed, and deliver strong guest experiences
Continuously innovate new and engaging programming

Team Leadership & Development

Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
Set clear expectations around sales, service, and accountability
Train staff on upselling, product knowledge, and guest engagement
Coach Assistant Managers and Supervisors to lead shifts and drive performance
Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and teamwork

Guest Experience & Floor Leadership

Maintain a constant and visible presence on the floor
Deliver a high-energy, memorable guest experience
Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally
Ensure smooth operations during both daily service and high-volume events

Operations & Cost Management

Oversee daily Beerhall operations and support broader operations as needed
Manage labor, scheduling, and cost controls
Ensure proper inventory management and purchasing
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards

Catering & Private Events

Lead Beerhall catering and private event execution
Ensure events are well-staffed, organized, and executed at a high level
Collaborate with catering teams to grow event sales and enhance offerings

Marketing, Social Media & Influencer Engagement

Develop and execute weekly social media content strategies
Promote events, menu items, and guest experiences
Build relationships with influencers, bloggers, and local media
Coordinate and host influencer visits and track engagement impact
Stay current on trends and introduce creative marketing initiatives

Membership & Community Engagement

Grow and engage membership programs through exclusive events and experiences
Develop programming that increases retention and overall guest spend
Build a strong sense of community through consistent engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant, bar, beerhall, or event-driven hospitality management
Strong background in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Demonstrated success driving sales and executing events or promotions
Experience managing teams and developing leaders
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and reservation platforms like SevenRooms
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Working Environment

High-volume, fast-paced, and event-driven setting
Requires adaptability and strong operational awareness
Heavy focus on nights, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds
Comfortable working long hours during large-scale events

Why This Role

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader to take full ownership of a high-energy Beerhall environment, driving both operational excellence and revenue growth through creativity, leadership, and execution.
