The firm provides survey, drafting, civil design, construction inspection, geotechnical services and testing of soil, asphalt and concrete

Job Description
  • Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. offers a paid internship program for high school and college students interested in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying, and/or materials testing. The program is designed for students who want to gain valuable, real-world, hands-on experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

  • Interns gain practical experience in areas such as civil design, materials testing, surveying, and drafting while being exposed to a broad range of engineering and technical responsibilities. Interns are mentored by and work alongside experienced professionals and leaders within their assigned office and area of interest. Depending on the office and the student's area of focus, the program may include construction site visits, educational seminars, professional development opportunities, and company social events. Internship experiences and opportunities may vary by office and department.

Qualifications

Students currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering.
