We are seeking a talented and dynamic Video & Photo Specialist to join the Social Production team at Trove Brands. This role will be responsible for concepting, capturing, producing, and editing best‑in‑class photo and video content that drives engagement across our portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate is a social‑first visual storyteller with expertise behind both the camera and in post‑production, balancing creative vision with platform performance.

Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Concept, capture, edit, and deliver high‑quality photography and short‑form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms. Produce supporting assets including stills, GIFs, thumbnails, graphics, and platform‑specific deliverables.
  • Creative Direction: Partner with Social Media Specialists, Art Directors, Designers, and Brand Marketing teams to develop social‑first creative concepts aligned with campaign objectives, brand identity, and audience insights.
  • Video Production: Lead all phases of video production, including pre‑production planning, shot lists, lighting, audio, filming, editing, color correction, motion graphics, captions, and final delivery.
  • Photography: Capture lifestyle, product, event, creator, and campaign photography that supports both always‑on social content and larger marketing initiatives.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay current on social trends, creator content, editing styles, platform updates, and emerging production techniques to continuously elevate creative output.
  • Creator & Influencer Collaboration: Work alongside creators, influencers, athletes, and talent to develop authentic, engaging content that feels native to each platform.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Brand, Creative, Events, Product Marketing, and Digital teams to ensure content supports broader business and campaign goals.
  • Asset Management: Organize, maintain, and archive photo and video assets while ensuring files are optimized for efficient cross‑functional use.

Note, we anticipate a split of video and photo tasks of 65% video and 35% photo.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in social media content production, photography, videography, or a related creative role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both photography and video work, with an emphasis on social‑first storytelling.
  • Expertise with cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and production workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects preferred) and familiarity with additional content creation tools.
  • Strong understanding of social platform best practices, formats, and creative trends.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills with a strong eye for composition, pacing, color, and design.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Photography, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Our culture is passionate, entrepreneurial, and energetic. We value innovation through collaboration. And while we work smart and hard, we also connect and celebrate with equal gusto. We host team‑building activities, athletic events, and seasonal celebrations to foster community and reward accomplishments. Bottom line? You’ll love it here.

Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care
  • 401k package with employer matching
  • Paid Time Off
  • Maternity/Paternity leave
  • Full indoor basketball/volleyball court
  • Fully equipped fitness center (cardio, weights, functional fitness area, lockers and showers, etc.)
