   KEENE FAMILY YMCA JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Out of School Time Coordinator Pay Grade: 3 FLSA Status: Part-tim e-Non-Exem pt -Seasonal Pay Range: $13.08-$16.34-$19.61 Reports to: Out of School Tim e Director Revision Date: 3.10.2026 POSITION SUMMARY: Supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening com m unity through youth developm ent, healthy living, and social responsibility. Build members and the community’s understanding of the YMCA’s cause and im pact. This position provides direct supervision to a group of children in a school-age setting. Provides positive engagem ent to youth in a safe, nurturing environment. Provides quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. Builds personal and m eaningful relationships with YMCA m em bers, participants, volunteers, and guests. Supervises and supports KFY OST program s at all locations 3. Supports and trains staff in planning engaging, enrichm ent-based, age-appropriate activities. 4. Provides leadership to co-staff. 5. Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards. 6. Attends staff m eetings, training, and dedicated events. (Fam ily nights and others) 7. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to m edical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and em ergencies. 8. Fulfills any other functions designated by the YMCA Adm inistration. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. At least 21 years of age 2. Must pass a background check 3. Minim um of 1 year supervising 3+ staff 4. 3+ years' experience working with youth preferably in a school age setting. 5. Behavioral m anagem ent experience within a School, Childcare, Cam p setting or parenthood is preferred. 6. 2-4 years' experience working with children with cognitive and developm ental disabilities is preferred. 7. Effective verbal com m unication skills 8. CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training with the first 30 days of hire. 9. Com pleted health form within the first 30 days of hire.
