Job description

Reports to: Director (s) of Operations
Position Summary: The Banquet Operations Supervisor is responsible for the setup,
execution, and breakdown of all banquet and club event spaces. This is a hands-on role that
requires a high level of physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both
independently and as part of a team. The Supervisor ensures all event spaces are properly
prepared according to party sheets while supporting overall operational flow.


Experience/Requirements:
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
o Ability to work independently and take initiative
o Prior banquet, event, or hospitality experience preferred
o Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
o Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Core Responsibilities:
o Execute and oversee banquet setups according to party sheets, ensuring accuracy
and attention to detail
o Set, reset, and break down event spaces efficiently based event schedules
o Lead by example in completing physical setup tasks, including arranging tables,
chairs, linens, and equipment
o Communicate with service staff prior to events to review setup details, timelines,
and event expectations
o Work closely with the event coordinator to ensure seamless execution of each event
o Coordination with Chef/kitchen on timing, layouts, and equipment
o Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of all banquet equipment
o Ensure all setups meet club standards for presentation and consistency
o Assist with training and onboarding new team members on setup procedures and
expectations
o Gather and prepare equipment for cater out events and verify accuracy against
gather sheet while also attending cater out
o Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding event
needs or challenges
o Expected to be available during busy periods (which may vary throughout the year),
weekends, and operating holidays.

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
o Ability to push, pull, and move heavy equipment (tables, chair carts, etc.)
o Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (4–8+
hours)
o Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
