We are hiring a Senior Event Associate to be based in our New York City office to join our Corporate Marketing Team.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the development of the overall marketing strategy by analyzing Greystone's market impact and identifying event opportunities that reach target audiences and drive measurable results.
  • Partners on strategic, multi-channel B2B event campaigns with Marketing Team peers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, positive ROI, and a consistent, integrated Greystone brand experience.
  • Executes large-scale industry conference sponsorships where Greystone has a significant brand presence, owning key event elements (e.g., room block management, conference registrations, meeting room buildout).
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and vendors across internal and client-facing events, delivering full-service logistical support throughout planning, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Leads negotiations with event suppliers and venues, managing cost, terms and conditions, and scope of work.
  • Manages event communications for internal and client-facing events, including invitations, sponsorship collateral, agendas, travel logistics, executive briefing materials, attendee bios, and internal event communications.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of event management experience in a fast-paced corporate environment required
  • CMP certification preferred
  • Experience working with C-level executives, translating goals and objectives into impactful attendee experiences
  • Ability to independently develop and execute event strategies aligned with business objectives and brand positioning
  • Experience reviewing and editing sponsorship, hotel, and supplier contracts, including drafting new terms as needed
  • Proven ability to mitigate financial risk during vendor sourcing and proactively identify and address potential risks (e.g., room block attrition)
  • Proficiency in event technology platforms, including web conferencing/broadcast tools, Salesforce, Cvent, and Jifflenow
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage last-minute requests with resourcefulness and efficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and apply brand messaging to enhance value proposition
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to support team needs as required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, with approximately 25-30% travel

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
