Job Description Coalinga College Events Assistant I $40 stipend per event Events Assistant II $60 stipend per event Events Assistant III $80 stipend per event (Temporary Employment) Position Duties Summary Under the supervision and direction of an appropriate administrator, the position will perform the duties and responsibilities outlined by the administrator concerning any athletic contest, other event, or activity. Events Assistant I Essential Duties and Responsibilities The functions covered for this position will be: Concession Stand Worker Event Staff Security Parking Lot attendant Event Set-up Event Clean-Up Events Assistant II Essential Duties and Responsibilities The functions covered for this position will be: Usher/Ticket Taker Statistician Concession Stand Supervisor Locker Room Attendant Scoreboard Operator Public Address Announcer Shot Clock Operator Lighting Operator Sound Operator Events Assistant III Essential Duties and Responsibilities The functions covered for this position will be: Event staff supervisor Event staff coordinator Physical Abilities Incumbent must be able to function effectively indoors and outdoors, engaged in work of primarily an active nature. Requires near visual acuity to write, to read directions and product labels, and to observe environmental conditions.

Requires sufficient hearing and speech for ordinary communication, to hear sound prompts from equipment, and to determine if equipment is functioning properly. Requires manual and finger dexterity to write, clean, and make minor repairs. Requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Qualification Education and Experience: GED or High School Diploma. Licenses and Certificates: Requires a driver's license.
