Job Description
The position of Assembler/Packager is repetitive and requires the individual to assemble and/or package products correctly and within time standards which are shown on computer screens and/or paperwork. While performing these tasks the individual needs to visually check components for quality defects and must be able to count the correct amounts of components to assemble/package correctly. The individual must complete paperwork and labels as to what and how much was completed. The individual will need to read part numbers and location ID's from computer screens to be able to gather components from the warehouse. The individual filling this role will work closely with co-workers and supervisors and must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Use computer to log entries.
  • Assemble and package parts correctly in a warehouse work environment.
  • Use the computer system to read bill of materials.
  • Identify various nuts, bolts, screws, washers, and assembly components by part number.
  • Pick parts in warehouse by identifying warehouse locations using the computer system.
  • Complete picking orders and work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet time standards given for each assembled and packaged product.
  • Meet quality control standards for each assembled and packaged product.

  • Lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Stand on feet all day.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Perform basic math skills.
  • Attention to detail to meet quality standards.
  • Perform basic computer skills: navigate using a mouse and touchscreens.
  • Good eyesight: see defects on parts, identify different sizes of nuts/bolts.
  • Clearly read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Produce quality work at a fast pace.
  • Use a hand truck and pallet jack.

Education
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

Hourly Range: $21.30 - $25.00 per hour
Day Shift: Monday - Friday from 6am to 2:30pm
