Who We're Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Assembler will assemble, inspect, and package the Company's medical device products. The Assembler will also assist in receiving/stocking duties, shipping duties including pick/pack and preparing shipping documents/paperwork.
About the Role:
  • Assemble and/or kit light medical parts/components into final products, per documented procedures and work instructions.
  • Operate various types of assembly line machinery.
  • Perform/document in-process and final inspection of assembled components.
  • Receive, inspect, stock, and ship disposable medical garment product line.
  • Assist and/or support Warehouse Associates and/or Mix-Fill Manufacturing Technicians.
  • Show constant attention to detail, and immediately inform supervisor of anything out of the ordinary, or anything which does not conform to the approved process sheets.
  • Complete training and understand documentation needed to comply with Laborie's quality system policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma / GED or relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience in light assembly, packaging and shipping environment desirable.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
  • Individuals will need to stand for extended periods. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. Ability to lift 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in the English language preferred.
